We have kept Boer Goats on our small holding in Lincolnshire for over seven years. Our herd name is Knapp Boer Goats.

After many years of hard work, we are continuing work on our successful breeding program with new genetics from the USA and Australia, our program includes ABGA Boer and Kiko genetics brought over to the UK.

We have already seen the all round quality in these Boer goats, straight from birth they have been quick on their feet, eager to feed and growing at an amazing rate.

The kids have great bone mass, great width and length, they are out performing our UK Boer goats in growth rates.

Most exciting of all is that we now have some sensational Dapple Boer goats on the ground. Having dreamed of these striking Boer goats for a long time, we now have them in the UK and they are even more spectacular in real life!! These are the first Dapple Boer goats born in the UK / Europe from USA genetics.

We are proud to be founding members of the BBMGA, which is the only DEFRA approved Zootechnical-approved Boer Goat society. A friendly group of like minded goat enthusiasts, welcoming all types of Boer Goats, traditional, black, red, coloured and dappled.

High Health - Export status.

We are members of the Premium Sheep and Goat Health Scheme run by SAC. All our goats are tested periodically and we are a closed herd. We are CAE and Johnes accredited, Level One. We have Export Status.

All our goats are tested negative for CLA and we have seven years clear on the Scrapie monitoring scheme.

Although not compulsory we have also tested and been confirmed negative for TB.
